Program costs
The Yahel Social Change Program is supported by Masa Israel Journey (a project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency) and Repair the World. Information about applying for a Masa grant can be found here.
The fee for the Yahel Social Change Program includes air travel to Israel*, accommodations, transportation, touring, educational programming and health insurance. The fee does not include food, travel on free weekends and personal expenses.
*Participants purchase their own plane tickets and are reimbursed for up to 5,000 shekels after 3 months in the program.
In addition to the Masa grants, additional needs-based scholarships are available through Masa and Yahel.

Application fee: $100.

*Please note that if you are not accepted to the program, this fee will be refunded. If you are accepted and choose to participate, the fee will be applied to your tuition.

Deposit to secure place in program upon acceptance: $900.

Balance (excluding application fee, deposit and Masa grants) is due 30 days prior to the beginning of the program.
Cancellation and withdrawal policy

Cancellation within 45 days before the start of the program: refund of paid tuition less $500 late cancellation fee.

Withdrawal from the program after the first month: no refund.

Note that refunds include only funds paid to Yahel – Israel Service Learning and do not include grants or scholarships from MASA.
