Are you 21-27?

The Yahel Social Change Program

Yahel’s 9-month service-learning experience is for young adults between the ages of 21 and 27. Come live in the Ramat Eliyahu neighborhood in Rishon LeZion, engage in meaningful volunteer work and in-depth learning sessions and seminars.

Alternative Break Programs

Yahel runs select 10-day service-learning trips for pre-formed groups of college students. We partner with Hillels and other university groups to offer an immersive service experience, where participants live, learn and volunteer in one community in Israel. Each program is run in close partnership with a local Israeli grassroots organization.

Are you in college?

Onward Israel Diversity & Pluralism

Spend 8 weeks interning at NGOs, non-profits, private companies and government institutions exploring the many political, social, economic and cultural challenges that exist within the mixed cities of Haifa and Jaffa.  The program is run in partnership with Onward Israel and is highly subsidized. Learn more here

 

 

 

Community Action in Tel Aviv- Semester Abroad
Open to undergraduate students enrolled at accredited colleges and universities outside of Israel. During the fall semester, you will be able to enroll in 2-3 courses at Tel Aviv University in a variety of subjects offered including Communications, Psychology, Middle Eastern Studies, Business and more. When you are not in class, you will join Israeli change-makers in schools, NGO’s, non-profit and grassroots organizations to work with schools, refugees, youth at risk and more. Learn more here
